Tampa Bay area ranked top relocation destination for millennials: A study by Hire A Helper claims that Tampa Bay is currently the top destination for millennials to relocate to. Tampa Bay includes Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater. Las Vegas is the next metro after Tampa Bay on the list. The study does note that the number of people moving is declining nationwide due to the cost of living increasing and several people moving home. (wtsp.com)
Tijuana Flats closing locations across Florida amid bankruptcy and company sale: Central Florida-based Tijuana Flats is closing multiple locations across Florida after filing for bankruptcy ahead of a sale. The company has been sold to Flatheads, LLC after struggling to battle inflation, rising labor costs, and failing to increase sales after raising prices. The restaurant chain was founded in Winter Park, Florida in 1995. (fox13news.com)
‘Club Cinco’ party coming May 5 to Downtown St. Pete: “Club Cinco” is coming to downtown St. Pete on Cinco de Mayo, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The 3-story party is being hosted by Red Mesa Group at 128 3rd Street South. Club Cinco is free to attend and there will be plenty of tacos and margaritas for sale. (ilovetheburg.com)
Tampa man dead in shooting incident this past weekend: A man died this past weekend after being shot at Teaser's Gentlemen's club in Tampa, according to a news report. Police said the incident happened early Sunday morning at 1 a.m. at 9700 N Nebraska Ave. No charges have been announced in the incident as of Sunday evening. (wfla.com)
Next phase of Ybor City developments preparing to launch: Casa Gomez and Casa Marti in Ybor City are near completion and preparing to welcome its first occupants, according to 83 Degrees Media. The development is part of the plans for developer Darryl Shaw to transform Ybor City along with Gas Worx and other projects around the historic neighborhood. Occupants for Casa Gomez will include New Wave Energy, ChappellRoberts, and NextPath Career Partners. Casa Marti is still a few months away from completion. (83degreesmedia.com)
