Michelin adds 2 Tampa restaurants to star-filled guide: Two Tampa restaurants have received Michelin stars after a party at EDITION Tampa in Water Street. Kōsen and Ebbe are the two restaurants that made the list. Both will run you quite a bit of money (hundreds of dollars), but these are normally the types of concepts that draw a Michelin star. The 2024 announcement mark the end of a partnership between Florida tourism bureaus and Michelin, with an extension likely to bear fruit soon. (wtsp.com)
Kahwa Coffee open new drive-thru in St. Pete: Kahwa Coffee has opened its latest coffee drive-thru in St. Petersburg at 6601 4th St. N. The location was delayed for several years prior to opening, but had opened at last. (cltampa.com)
Bolts announce playoff watch parties in Tampa: The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced playoff watch parties starting on Sunday, April 21 at 12:30 p.m. at Sparkman Wharf in Water Street Tampa. Fans should plan for hot weather with a high of 85 expected. The second watch party will be at MidTown Tampa. (thatssotampa.com)
Heritage Fire food event happening this weekend in Tampa: Heritage Fire is a food event coming to Tampa this weekend on April 21 with a line-up of chefs from around the city at Tabellas at Delaney Creek at 5818 Causeway Blvd. Tickets offer guests unlimited food and drinks and hte event is rain or shine. Participating restaurants include Timpano Hyde Park, 7th + Grove, CW's Gin Joint, Juno & The Peacock, Allelo, and more. (heritagefiretour.com)
Pesto Festo happening Saturday in Tampa: The 30th Annual Pesto Festo Celebration is Saturday, April 20 at Sweetwater Organic Farm. The PestoFesto features the farm’s famous farm-fresh organic pesto pasta, zoodles, pesto pizza, salad, dessert, and juice. There will also be locally-brewed kombucha, Six Ten Brewing Beer, Keel & Curley Wine, and organic coffee. Organizers say B.Y.O.B is also okay. Tickets are on EventBrite. (sweetwater-organic.org)
