Attempted murder suspect in Armature Works shooting incident released on bail: One of the suspects in a recent shooting at Armature Works in Tampa Heights has been released on bail, according to records obtained by WFLA. The suspect is charged with attempted first-degree murder premeditated firearm discharge, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and discharging a firearm in public or on residential property. The suspect in question has pled not guilty on all counts. (wfla.com)
Bucs release 2024 preseason and regular season NFL schedule: The Tampa Bay Bucs have released their NFL preseason and regular season schedule for 2024. The preseason kicks off Aug. 10 with the first regular season game on Sept. 8 at home against the Washington Commanders. The full schedule is available on their official website. Tampa Bay Times Food Critic explores how plants are used in plating at popular fine dining restaurant: The Tampa Bay Times has published a story by food critic Helen Freund about Ko, an omakase restaurant. The story explores foxtail ferns that the restaurant allegedly was plating with food. Freund gathered evidence of staff cutting the plants outside and then taking it into the restaurant despite being exposed to the elements including dog urine. Disco Party this weekend at Hotel Haya Swim Club in Ybor City: The next Hotel Haya Swim Club in Ybor City is coming this weekend on Saturday, May 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 1412 E 7th Ave. This month’s theme is a disco party. Tickets can be purchased online at ResortPass.com. (carloseats.com)
New businesses coming to Water Street Tampa: Businesses are continuing to open in Tampa’s busy Water Street district.
