Yelp snubs Tampa in ‘Top 100 Seafood Spots” list: Yelp has released its 2024 list of the “Top 100 Seafood Spots” in the United States. No restaurants in Tampa were included on the Top 25 spots on the list. Two Central Florida restaurants made the list including Happy Snapper Seafood Restaurant in Orlando and J Crab House in Kissimmee. (wfla.com)

Gasparilla International Film Festival returns to Tampa later this month: The Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) is back from March 21 to March 24. The festival will kick off with the film Cash Out as the opening night film on March 21 at the historic Tampa Theatre at 711 N Franklin St. Some notable attendees to the opening including John Travolta, Grammy Award Nominee Quavo, actor Lukas Haas, actor Natali Yura and actor Noel Gugliemi. Tampa Riverwalk nominated for “10Best” series award for Riverwalk: The Tampa Riverwalk in downtown is nominated for a Readers' Choice Award in USA Today's "10Best" series for riverwalks.
