Citizens Property Insurance adds more customers in Florida as state pushes to lower growth on provider: The number of customers on Citizens Property Insurance continues to rise as Florida’s property insurance crisis continues. Citizens is the last resort for Floridians for insurance. There are now 1.175 million customers on Citizens and it is the largest insurer in the state. Florida is attempting to offload customers to other companies in the state. (cltampa.com)
Gas prices rising in Tampa Bay during spring break: Gas futures rose by 19 cents while average prices in Florida increased to $3.48 last week, according to AAA. Crude oil prices also spiked due to Russia’s war with Ukraine. Prices last year in 2023 were $3.72 per gallon in Florida so prices are still down for now. (wtsp.com, gasprices.aaa.com)
Tampa market named “best crabs on the planet” by food reviewer: West Fortune Street Fish Market in Tampa has been named the "best crabs on the planet" by a food reviewers called Strictly Dumpling.
