Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival happening now: The second annual Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival is happening now. The event is sponsored by Breakthru Beverage Florida. Over 7,500 people attended the event last year on its first run. This year organizers are also hosting tasting dinners in South Tampa and Water Street in addition to a Chef Showdown on Friday and a Grand Tasting on Saturday at Curtis Hixon Park. No charges for deputy in Pinellas County shooting incident: No charges will be filed against a deputy at the St. Petersburg Police Department who shot a woman in a domestic dispute and left her in critical condition. Police say the woman carried a knife and tried to attack police officers. The incident happened in Pinellas County on Monday night at 14041 95th Avenue North in Seminole. (wfla.com)
Tampa Bay Bucs hosting Draft Party on April 25: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hosting a Draft Party at Raymond James Stadium on April 25 at 6 p.m. Raymond James Stadium is located at 4201 N Dale Mabry Hwy. Tickets are $5 for season pass members and $10 for non-members. Spring Plant Festival returns this weekend at USF Botanical Gardens: The Spring Plant Festival is returning to the University of South Florida (USF) this weekend from April 13-14 at the school’s Botanical Gardens at 12210 USF Pine Dr. Tickets start at $10 for non-members and non-students. Teenager arrested after shooting near Armature Works in Tampa Heights this week: Police have apprehended a 17-year-old in connection to a shooting this week at Armature Works that left four people injured, according to authorities. The teenager is charged with second-degree attempted murder with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. (wtsp.com)
