Local celebrity chef dim sum restaurant celebrating one year in Tampa: Hales Black Brick is celebrating one year in Tampa at 4812 N Dale Mabry Hwy. The dim sum concept is owned by celebrity Chef Richard Hales, who has previously been featured on the Food Network and other networks. Hales puts his own twist on Chinese dishes at Black Brick. City of Tampa opens new dog park for residents to enjoy: Tampa has opened a 10,600-square-foot dog park at Henry and Ola Park. A ribbon cutting was held on Monday to celebrate the new space. Tampa now boasts 17 dog parks throughout the city as the city becomes more dog-friendly. (wtsp.com)
Annual cigar and whisky festival returning to Hard Rock Tampa this spring: The annual Big Smoke Meets WhiskyFest is coming to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa located at 5223 Orient Rd. on Saturday, Apr. 6.
