Bucs re-sign WR Mike Evans for $52 million: WR Mike Evans has agreed to a two-year and $52 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a report from ESPN. Loose bull captured in Temple Terrace on Monday morning: Temple Terrace police captured a loose bull early Monday morning after receiving a call from a concerned neighbor. Rideshare companies partnering with Hillsborough Co. Schools: Hillsborough County Schools is contracting with ride share services for students, a practice now happening across the Sunshine State to help students reach schools. The total cost to the county is around $4 million and the contracts service hundreds of students, according to a report from Bay News 9. The service is mainly for students with disabilities as part of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. (baynews9.com)
USF has strong presence at 2024 Synapse Summit in Tampa: The University of South Florida (USF) had a major presence this year at the Synapse Summit in Tampa. The event featured a βBull Zoneβ filled with USF researchers and entrepreneurs. Eight companies from the USF Connect Tampa Bay Technology Incubator were in attendance at the gathering. Yankees spring training now underway in Tampa: Yankees spring training has returned to Tampa at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
