Sip Fresh beverage concept coming soon to Tampa: California-based beverage concept Sip Fresh is coming soon to Tampa, Orlando, and Sarasota. The expansion is part of a franchise agreement with Marine Corps veteran Ryan McGrail. The concept serves drinks made with fresh fruit and offers samples to mix and match flavors. Hillsborough Co. teacher arrested by police after allegedly attacking special needs student: Police arrested a Hillsborough County schoolteacher on Monday after allegedly attacking a child with special needs at Eisenhower Exceptional Center, according to authorities. The suspect is facing a charge of child abuse and was also fired from the school. An investigation is ongoing into the incident. (wfla.com)
New Tampa nonprofit seeks to promote dancing as a living: Dance Tampa Bay is a new nonprofit in Tampa that aims to help create more opportunities for dancers to make a living in the area. The nonprofit will be run by CEO Shana Corrada. Dance Tampa Bay will host town hall meetings this month and next month to gather input from the dance community. (83degreesmedia.com)
