Cirque du Soleil BAZZAR returns on Feb. 22 to Tampa Bay: Cirque du Soleil is making its return to Tampa Bay region and St. Petersburg this year with the debut of BAZZAR, a high-energy show featuring acrobatics, stunts and truly unique performances. The show is the fourth stop on the tour and will be presented at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg under the iconic Big Top from Feb. 22 to March 24, 2024. Tickets are now available online. Grand Cathedral Cigars in Tampa Heights faces abrupt loss of liquor license amid angry neighbor complaints: Grand Cathedral Cigars, a popular hangout for cigar smokers at 2201 N Florida Ave. in Tampa Heights, is in danger of losing their liquor license after noise complaints from angry neighbors. A hearing is set for Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Tampa City Hall. Owner Angela Yue says she has tried to alleviate neighbors concerns, including installing sound barriers, with no success. Retro arcade hangout now open in Largo: Neon Dreams Arcade is retro gamer haven located at 11100 66th St. N in Largo. Admission costs $15 to enter with discounts available for military and students. St. Petersburg bar makes James Beard semifinalist list: No Tampa Bay restaurant was named as a James Beard semifinalist, but a local bar did make the list. Webb’s City Cellar, a downtown St. Petersburg tasting room at Green Bench Brewing Co. located at 1133 Baum Ave. N was a nominee for Outstanding Bar. The space is beautiful and a great escape from the heat during the summer. James Beard awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the industry. (tampabay.com)
Farm-to-fork chef dinner coming to Meacham Urban Farm on Feb. 17: Farm Dinner in Fire is coming to Meacham Urban Farm in downtown Tampa on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1108 East Scott St. in Tampa. New York City native chefs Jazmin Johnson and Lana Lagomarsini have come to Meacham Urban Farm to explore seasonal and local produce and craft a special dinner.
