HCSO deputy arrested for boating under the influence, according to HCSO: Police arrested a Hillsborough County deputy for boating under the influence this past weekend. Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said Deputy Clinton Ormsbee refused to provide a breath sample. The deputy has been placed on placed on administrative leave without pay, until an internal affairs investigation is complete. (wfla.com, fox13news.com)

Hillsborough Medical Examiner using forensic genetic genealogy to solve old cases, asks public for help: Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Blake Patel is using forensic genetic genealogy to solve cases that are unsolved from decades ago. The medical examiner said those who want to help in the investigations can upload their data into into GED match or family tree DNA. Patel said those who submit can later delete their data at any time. (wtsp.com)
Tchotchke eclectic restaurant opening soon in Southeast St. Pete: A new restaurant called Tchotchke is opening soon in Southeast St. Pete at 3920 6th Street S in the former space of Munch's Restaurant and Sundries.
