6 Tampa restaurants added to Michelin guide: Michelin has added 6 restaurants to the Tampa guide as the city’s presence in the national food scene grows. The new restaurants on the list are Supernatural Food & Wine, Predalina, Streetlight Taco, The Pearl, Kosen and Ebbe. Many of the new restaurants are located in downtown Tampa and Water Street Tampa as the area asserts itself as the center of Tampa. Lunar New Year celebration this weekend in downtown Tampa: Suncoast Organization of Chinese Americans (SACA) is hosting a Lunar New Year Celebration this weekend on Saturday, Feb. 17, in Tampa at Water Works Park located at 1701 N Highland Ave. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is no cost to attend. Guests can enjoy plenty of food and entertainment including lion and dragon dances, calligraphy art, and more. (cltampa.com)
Tampa Bay Rays kickoff 2024 spring training: Spring training is now underway for the upcoming 2024 MLB baseball season. The Tampa Bay Rays will have their first game of spring training against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.
