Bolts planning party for opening day on Oct. 12: The Tampa Bay Lightning are throwing an event for Game One Opening Day at Ford Thunder Alley Stage in Water Street Tampa. There will be a concert, food trucks, and beverage specials, including 50 percent off beer, soda, water, and snack. 2024 St. Pete Super Greek Festival happening this weekend: The 2024 St. Pete Super Greek Festival is happening this weekend with plenty of delicious Greek cuisine from Oct. 4 to Oct. 6 at St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church at 3600 76th St N. Tampa insurance company responds to “60 Minutes” documentary amid lawsuit: Heritage Property & Casualty Insurance has responded to a “60 Minutes” documentary that covered alleged changes to insurance claims in Florida that has left residents outraged. The company is currently in litigation and not commenting on specific claims. The insurance company says they have already been fined $1 million by Florida and are allegedly now in compliance. Rays and Rowdies donate $1 million to recovery efforts: The Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Rowdies have donated $1 million in relief efforts after Hurricane Helene.
