New South Tampa taco restaurant wins Michelin Gourmand Award: Streetlight Taco has been recognized for a Gourmand Award by Michelin Guide. The restaurant just recently opened in South Tampa at the end of 2023 and is already being put in the Florida Michelin Guide. The Gourmand award is given to restaurants that are affordable for diners, but also delicious. Two tacos at Streetlight will run diners $11. (wtsp.com)
USF releases new details about upcoming on-campus football stadium: The University of South Florida (USF) has announced updates on the school's upcoming on-campus stadium. The stadium will have an east-west build for shading, a student section with amenities, tailgating space, and premium seating options. 4th Annual Pasco Beer & Burger Festival coming later this month to Land O’ Lakes: The 4th Annual Pasco Beer & Burger Festival is coming to Pasco County on Saturday, April 20 from noon to 6 p.m. at Land O' Lakes Heritage Park at 5401 Land O' Lakes Blvd. Tickets are available now on EventBrite. Tax interest group throws support behind taxpayers funding hundreds of millions for Tropicana Field: Florida TaxWatch has thrown its weight behind taxpayers paying for part of Tropicana Field. Florida politics has previously described the group as a “conservative fiscal watchdog group.” The group also provided recommendations to consider the interests of taxpayers and locals when funding the stadium. A Night at the Brewseum happening this Friday in St. Pete: A Night at the Brewseum 2024 is happening this Friday in St. Petersburg at Great Explorations Children’s Museum from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1925 4th Street North.
