Florida woman arrested for South Florida Publix robbery and bomb threat, police say: A Florida woman was arrested after robbing a Publix in South Florida and threatening to bomb it, according to Miramar Police. News reports indicate the incident happened on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 9951 Miramar Parkway. The suspect allegedly gave a note to a store employee demanding money or that she would blow up the store. She has been charged with robbery with sudden snatching. (wfla.com)
USF Football headed to Boca Raton Bowl on Dec. 21: The University of South Florida (USF) will make its 11th bowl appearance at the Boca Raton Bowl on Thursday, Dec. 21 at FAU Stadium. It is the first time South Florida makes it to a bowl since 2018. The game kicks off at 8 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN. Tickets are available online for those wishing to attend.
