Ten Rooms concept opens on April 27 next to Centro Ybor: Ten Rooms will open its doors in Ybor City on Saturday, April 27. The concept is being led by Ro Patel, a Tampa Bay food & beverage veteran known for Ciro’s Speakeasy, Anise Global Gastro Bar and more, and Zach Pace, an experienced restaurant operator and sommelier from San Francisco. City of Tampa leaders approve new committee focused on racism history: Tampa City Council has approved a race reconciliation committee. The group will work to address racism in Tampa's history. The NAACP supports the effort with reservations. Some of the ideas for the group include battling affordable housing and rehabilitation for previously incarcerated people. (wtsp.com)

Minano Ramen holding grand opening on April 24: Minano Ramen located at 11909 Sheldon Rd. is celebrating its grand opening on Wednesday, April 24. The restaurant has been in soft opening for about a month. The ramen shop is also rolling out a happy hour and lunch menu. (carloseats.com)
Eddie & Sam’s named top pizza in Tampa by study: A new study from Stacker found that Eddie & Sam's NY Pizza is the top spot for pizza in Tampa. Data was used from Yelp to help compile the list of restaurants. The pizza maker famously says they import water from New York to make their pies. (thatssotampa.com)
